So Andrew was released from the hospital around 4 on Wednesday. He slept from 4:30 until the next morning. He woke up and said that he felt terrible. I am really hoping this cocktail wears off quickly. He did pretty well yesterday, getting around ok, joking around with his sister, and just goofing off. He only got sick once, and still is nauseous a lot, but not too much to prevent him for doing his regular activities. He said this morning that this chemo was too hard, and lucky for us, he doesn’t have it for quite a while. He will have the cocktail he had before for two times before he gets this on again. He is still an amazing inspiration to me and all those who meet him and the best son I could wish for.

Andre is truly an amazing young man. He is able to endure this pain and discomfort and disruption to his normal life with grace and even humor. I loved playing WII with Andrew this morning. I felt honored to spend the morning with him. By the way, he is much faster at running in the WII race than I am. Thank you, Andrew, for letting me spend the morning with you.
I will be happy to do it again.

Hang in there Andrew! You are such a strong person, I hope that some of your strength will rub off on me. You are in my prayers and I think about you often. I am so glad you are home and will pray that you recover your strength soon from this last blast of chemo. Love you. Nadine
