Dear Andrew and Family. I just happened to stumble upon your blog of what you and your family are enduring with the diagnosis of your cancer. Your story touches my heart for no other reason than human compapssioin I guess. I feel called to prayer for you Andrew even though you don't know me and I don't know you other then reading about your triumphant struggle with this horrible disease that has touched your life. . I hope that this is okay. May God bless you richly and continue to give your comfort and strength.
In his name and for his glory, Cindy Desilet

Dearest Brittany and Andrew,

I keep you in my prayers daily, as hard as this is, you will make it through. In the late "80's" I knew a little 8 year old girl, who had been diagnosed with leukemia. She was in Swedish Hospital in Seattle and was isolated in a 'LAF' room, it's been so long I may have the name of the room wrong..anyway it was a room with a large plastic partition ,isolating her from people and their germs. If you wanted to be in her special room, you were required to gown up in sterilized surgical attire with mask...to say the least I became very familiar with wearing surgical attire. She was so sick, and had 2 bone marrow transplants that did not take, do to her deteriorating condition, and they could not find another donor match, the decision was made to use her mothers marrow, which usually is not done, and was not a good match, they did not think it would work.....I talked to god daily praying that the marrow would be a match.. and prayers are answered, for Amy did make it, and is now 32 yrs old with a family of her own.

Andrew, I so look forward to meeting you next month, I have a 8 yr old little boy also, and if it is allowed would love to bring him over on august 15th, when I come to help sanitize your home, depending on your condititon at that time, I will talk to your Mom and see how your doing before I bring him.....and Brittany keep the faith for prayers answered,

                                                                 Warmly,
                                                             Jane Tucker

Hi Andrew,

I was diagnosed with cancer when I was 13 years old. My leg was swollen for a while and I didn't know what it was, cause it would go down and not be swollen. Then it swelled up and didn't go down, so we went to the doctor and he said I had cancer. I guess I've had cancer for about 2 years now, and I'm hoping that I'm finished with chemo. When this started it felt like it was going to be a long journey to go down, but now that I'm almost finished, I'm looking back and it doesn't feel like it was that long. Are you going to do a MakeAWish? I'm hoping to do mine soon, wanting to go to Disneyworld.

Always keep a good attitude and a smile on your face and keep your friends and family close.
Hang in there and laugh as much as you can - it helps.
You'll make it through all this chemo, its the worst, but it's not forever. Act like you're not sick when you can, that helped me.
We belong to the same club now, we're kids fighting cancer.
Take care,
Your friend,
Brandon Hammett

Brittany, Andrew and Taylor, Our thoughts and prayers are with you every single day. We pray that God will make all of you the Apple of his Eye and Take You under his Wing. Every time I see the bald eagle fly by I think of you and the power of that eagle. I am so sorry I can't help out this week. We have a stretch of company for about four weeks now, until about the 27th of August. After that I can certainly come down to Boise to help out, with or without Rocky in tow. Keep up those wonderful smiles and know that we check on your website every day. Love, Wendy and Jack
