So I am sorry I have not updated, I went on a get-a-way this weekend and got back late Tuesday night. So Andrew’s blood counts dropped to nothing on Tuesday and he dropped 2 pounds as well. He also developed an infected sore on his nostril. Apparently, I am not allowed to leave again! He got a transfusion on Tuesday as well as lots of antibiotics. The very sad thing was that he just pulled out his nose hose on Sunday night because he was eating ok, and had to have another one put back in. He is incredibly weak and is not able to walk for more than a couple steps before his legs give out. His spirits are ok, he is very happy to have me back and is looking forward to Christmas!

are you at home, Andrew? I sure hope so. This won’t be too much longer, just hang in there. Give your body a chance to fight off all those bugs and drugs. WE are thinking about you and sending you good thoughts. Would love to come see you, if it allowed. Brittany, anything I can do to help?

Andrew I met your mother on a plane ride from Boise to Chicago, she is an amazing woman so I know that you have to be an amazing boy. Her eyes lit up as she was telling me about you and your battle. I have never met you and probably never will, but I feel as though I know you from her stories and have often since our brief conversation on the plane thought of you. I was really happy to see the latest entry on this blog with your test results coming back with some great news. You have touched my life without even knowing it, and inspire me everyday to appreciate family, friends, and life itself. I love reading your blog I hope your mom continues to update. Congratulations and to your mom…thanks for the great conversation I hope your trip in December was great.
